Gildan Announces Resignation of Director Patrik Frisk

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jun 27, 2017) - Gildan Activewear Inc. (GIL.TO)(GIL.TO) announced today that Mr. Patrik Frisk, who had been appointed to the Board of Directors on May 4th, 2017, has stepped down as director of the Company effective immediately. Mr. Frisk has accepted the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Under Armour, Inc., effective July 10, 2017.
