United plane avoids glider during flight to Chicago

A United flight from Vancouver to Chicago O’Hare on Monday was forced to deviate from its flight path to avoid a glider, the airline said in a statement.

United flight 246 landed safely.

“We are following up with the FAA to do a complete review of what happened,” the airline said.
