ManTech Wins $37 Million Air Force Contract to Help Assess, Plan and Optimize Current and Future Warfighting Capabilities


HERNDON, Va., Oct. 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ManTech International Incorporated (NASDAQ:MANT) today announced a five-year $37 million task order with the US Air Force, Headquarters Air Force Studies, Analyses, and Assessments Directorate (AF/A9) for support on the DoD Information Analysis Center's (DoD IAC) Cyber Security Technical Area Task (CSTAT) Multi-Award Contract (MAC).

Under the agreement, ManTech will support the Force Structure Analyses Directorate (AF/A9F), which analyzes air, space, and joint campaigns. ManTech’s mission is to help AF/A9F optimize planning, programming, and budgeting of innovative technologies that will shape the future of US Air Force warfighting capabilities.

The DoD IAC serves as a bridge between the warfighter and the acquisition community, offering an enhanced research base of Scientific and Technical Information (STI) and flexible MACs that yield new STI for reuse within DoD daily. 

ManTech will provide model and simulation development, configuration management, modification, training and analysis support for various engagement, mission and campaign level models to help AF/A9 meet its mission.
