Do keep in mind that the crown prince also met up with Russian president Putin last week ahead of the World Cup match between Saudi Arabia and Russia on 14 June. They are said to have discussed oil matters as well, so it's very much looking like a Saudi Arabia-Russia alliance against the rest of the OPEC members (or more like Iran, Venezuela, and Iraq) ahead of the meetings to come.
