GE Power India has been awarded twin boiler equipment orders worth about ₹467.9 crore, exclusive of taxes, by Bharat Heavy Electricals for supercritical thermal power projects in Patratu and Udangudi.
BHEL is executing an EPC contract for Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam’s 2,400-MW supercritical thermal power station and the 1,320-MW unit at Udangudi in Tamil Nadu.
GE Power will supply pressure-part equipment for Patratu (₹341.5 crore) and Udangudi (₹126.40 crore) projects.
