USD/MXN Technical Analysis: Next target slightly above 19.15

  • The Mexican peso continues to rise against the US Dollar and stands at the highest since late-October. The outlook continues to favor the downside in USD/MXN, and signals of a bottom are not seen yet.
  • Price is moving in a bearish channel in the short-term, facing support by the lower limit near 19.20/25. So a consolidation around 19.35 could continue over the next sessions before the next leg lower to the critical support at 19.17.
  • On the upside, a recovery should be seen as a correction as long as it remains under 19.50/55. If it breaks above, the Mexican peso would lose strength.
