- U.S. airlines won 12 extra landing slots at Tokyo's Haneda International Airport in time for the 2020 Summer Olympics, according to a statement from the Department of Transportation.
- Five slots were allotted for Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), four for United Continental (NASDAQ:UAL), two for American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL) and one for Hawaiian Airlines (NASDAQ:HA).
- The government still needs to issue final approval on the highly-coveted landing slots.
