EUR/USD slips as the dollar holds firm
But the euro is also giving up some ground on the day as EUR/USD touches a low of 1.1133 on the session. Price now sits at a one-month low and is approaching the next key support from the April lows around 1.1112-18.
With the dollar trading up on the back of weaker risk sentiment, cable is also falling to fresh lows of 1.2606 currently as the pound continues to be battered in trading this morning.
As for EUR/USD, look out for the April lows as we look towards the release of euro area flash PMI data during the next hour. Should the data disappoint significantly, we could see stops get run on a break below the 1.1100 handle.
