- Vodafone (VOD -0.7%) has named Vinod Kumar the chief executive officer of Vodafone Business.
- That move will be effective Sept. 2.
- Kumar has been CEO and managing director of Tata Communications since 2011.
- He replaces Vivek Badrinath, Vodafone CEO Rest of World, who's been acting as interim chief of Vodafone Business since March.
- He'll join Vodafone's executive committee and report to Vodafone CEO Nick Read.
