Issues in regards to robustness is something that has been plaguing the XRP ledger recently. This came after was highlighted by one former supporter of the network, Tiffany Hayden who said that the ledger is extremely vulnerable to spam attacks.

Tiffany’s claims didn’t go down well within the XRP community as she was met with strong opposition. It also didn’t help that she recently dumped all of the XRP she had.

Despite this, the claim was backed by the CTO of Ripple, David Schwartz who took to Twitter to say that he has an emergency plan in place to fight off this issue.

According to Hayden, transactions on XRPL have almost come to a stop. This is because of the current nature of the performance of the network. She also added that the network is not decentralised as other blockchains and because of this it is very difficult to sustain skip scalability.

She further added that the whole network has one point of failure which is in regards to the human impact of the network. She also added that if other companies started to use the system, they would soon become frustrated as she fell out of the ledger and didn't have any solid infrastructure.

On top of all of this, she for that is that the increased interest in the XRP talking is no longer increasing. It is slowly going away but not because the digital as it wasn’t designed for public use. Instead, she says because of the simple reason that people just don’t want to use it.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. For more news on this, the XRP price and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
