- Verizon (NYSE:VZ) has announced exchange offers for 17 series of notes.
- It's launching separate exchange offers on: seven series of notes for up to $750M in new notes; and 10 series of notes for up to $2B in new notes (and if applicable, cash).
- The first offers cover exchanging series maturing 2021-2024 ("short-dated old notes") for newly issued notes due 2030. The second offers cover exchanging series maturing 2037-2055 ("long-dated old notes") for newly issued notes due 2056.
- The exchange offers expire Oct. 26.
