- ConocoPhillips' acquisition of Concho Resources has set off a few changes to the S&P Dow Jones Indices.
- Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB), currently in the S&P MidCap 400, is moving into the S&P 500 to take Concho's place. Trimble shares are up 2% after hours.
- Taking Trimble's place in the MidCap 400 is YETI Holdings (NYSE:YETI), which is down 4% after hours, adding on to a regular-session decline of 4.6%.
- YETI is moving up from the SmallCap 600. Taking its place there will be Hilltop Holdings (NYSE:HTH); its stock is up 5.5% postmarket on the move.
- All these changes are effective prior to the open of trading next Thursday, Jan. 21.
