Facebook (FB-0.2%) CEO Mark Zuckerberg was present for the company's first public U.S. beta test of its Live Audio Rooms - its live-chat application to rival the hot popular Clubhouse app.
The new offering has a very Clubhouse-like feel, TechCrunch notes, though it's more of a "few-to-many" broadcast experience, without options for raising one's hand or joining speakers on stage.
And Zuckerberg used the time to share some thoughts about the creator economy in general and to reveals some new gaming features, including a "Looking for Players" post type, and integrating fan groups for all partnered creators on Facebook Gaming.
