ASML Holding (NASDAQ:ASML) dipped on Monday after the Netherlands-based semiconductor company said there was a fire at its factory in Berlin.
No one was injured in the fire, ASML (ASML) said, but it is too early to know what type of impact it will have on its operations, Reuters reported.
ASML (ASML) shares were down less than 0.5% to $792.72 in mid-Monday trading, but have gained more than 58% over the past year.
ASML's (ASML) Berlin factory makes components for its lithography systems, which create the circuity for computer chips, including wafer tables, reticle chucks and mirror blocks.
The company received the plant when it acquired Berlin Glas, a former supplier, in 2020, Reuters added.
