Two Factors Might Drive SHIB Price in the Near Term; Bitcoin, Ethereum Now Accepted by Canada’s Largest Donation Platform

Shiba Inu last went parabolic in October 2021, when the price surged sporadically and hit an all-time high of $0.000088. SHIB has now attracted a significant number of investors despite being down -86.7 percent from its all-time high. According to WhaleStats, the current Shiba Inu holder count is 1,166,839.

Aside from everyday investors, businesses from all around the world have jumped on the Shiba Inu bandwagon. Several retailers now accept Shiba Inu as a form of payment as the number of businesses that accept SHIB is growing every day, and this trend is expected to continue throughout the year. Recently, Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer announced it would accept Shiba Inu along with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, recently shared a tweet pertaining to a chat with energy drink brand Red Bull, saying, “Thanks for the chat about everything SHIB .@redbull! Looking forward to speaking more in the future.” The tweet also included a GIF image of a man wearing a Red Bull helmet, gliding through the air. Shytoshi did not reveal a lot of details, but the tweet might suggest that talks are ongoing for future collaboration. Market observers believe this might impact SHIB price positively.

The Shiba Inu developer also tweeted ‘’Thanks for letting me push in silence for this week. Next week things will begin to get interesting. Also seen some GREAT art from @PlaysideStudios for our Shib CCG. Can’t wait to share. great workmates!’’

Bitcoin, Ethereum Now Accepted by Canada’s Largest Donation Platform

CanadaHelps, the country’s largest platform for donating and fundraising online has announced that it now accepts donations of cryptocurrency in support of any of Canada’s 86,000 registered charities. This might infer that Canadians can now donate ether and bitcoin to any registered charity in Canada.

According to a recent poll conducted by KPMG, 13% of Canadians have purchased crypto-assets such as bitcoin or ethereum, the two most popular digital currencies. Among the biggest investors are younger Canadians, with 24% of 18 to 24-year-olds having purchased crypto assets.
