Ripple Launches Its First Office in Canada

Ripple

Blockchain company Ripple plans to hire 50 engineers following launching its first Canadian office in Toronto. According to a statement released on Wednesday, the blockchain firm Ripple has established its first office in Canada.

The company’s “key engineering hub” will be located in its new Toronto facility. The largest city in the nation, according to Garlinghouse, is full of talent.

To eventually hire “hundreds” of blockchain software engineers, Ripple will go on a hiring spree in Toronto.

In stark contrast to other significant cryptocurrency startups, including Coinbase, who have significantly decreased their workforce, Garlinghouse stated that the company would continue to hire. The “significant” cash balance that Ripple has will let the firm survive the current turmoil.

According to Garlinghouse’s statement, many talented engineers are switching from traditional banking to the Cryptocurrency industry.

In complementing the company’s “innovative technology,” Toronto Mayor John Tory claims that Ripple will be “a perfect fit” for the city.

Ripple also established operations in Miami and Dubai in 2021.

As part of its University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) program, Ripple previously worked with several Canadian universities before launching its first office in Canada.
